XXI International MBA Congress
Harm or Harmony? Managing Generational Diversity
May 30^th – June 1^st, 2025

The International MBA Congress, organized by the Krakow School of Business at Krakow University of Economics, is the largest event in Poland bringing together MBA students and alumni, as well as middle and senior-level managers from various industries. Each year, the Congress attracts over 200 participants – business leaders, practitioners, and experts from Poland and abroad.

The central theme of this year’s 21st edition of the Congress is “Harm or Harmony? Managing Generational Diversity”, which highlights the challenges and opportunities of having multiple generations in the workplace. Today’s organizations are increasingly facing the need to effectively manage generational diversity, creating space for engaging discussions about communication, values, and stereotypes.

The event will open with a unique Keynote Speech by Rafał Sonik – entrepreneur, philanthropist, rally driver, and Dakar Rally winner. He will share his experience in business and social engagement, focusing on intergenerational cooperation and the challenges leaders face in a rapidly changing environment.

The Congress program will include three thematic panels, one of which will be held in a new interactive roundtable format:

1. Bridging Perspectives – The Art of Intergenerational Communication
2. Interactive Roundtable: Beyond Harm or Harmony – Appreciating and Leveraging Generational Differences in Multi-Generational Teams
3. Tackling Stereotypes: Overcoming Generational Biases

Workshops – participants will have the opportunity to take part in hands-on sessions led by experienced trainers. These workshops offer a great opportunity to develop practical skills and broaden horizons, with participants representing various industries.

Networking & Gala Dinner

As every year, there will be many opportunities for informal discussions, experience sharing, and establishing new business connections. A highlight of the first day will be the Gala Dinner, combined with a charity auction. This year’s auction items will include works of art and unique artistic pieces. All proceeds will support the Rafał Sonik Stars4Stars Foundation. Foundation helps children and young people – particularly those injured in road accidents – and runs initiatives to improve road safety. The foundation’s activities focus on community engagement, education, and organizing support and sports initiatives.

A special closing event of the Congress will be the Family Picnic held at the Royal Kraków Golf & Country Club in Ochmanów, near Kraków. The picnic is a great opportunity to strengthen the bonds among Congress participants and take the first steps in learning to play golf. There will also be sports excitement and chances to win prizes in competitions!
