
“Sustainable Energy Certificate Program” – postgraduate studies at the Krakow School of Business KUE conducted in cooperation with Shell Polska Sp. z o.o.

On 1 December 2025, a meeting was held in the office of the Rector of the Krakow University of Economics, during which Assoc. Prof. Bernard Ziębicki, Ph.D. signed a cooperation agreement with Shell Polska Sp. z o.o.
The company was represented by Grzegorz Mucha, Piotr Laszczak, and Katarzyna Konowrocka.
Under the signed agreement, Shell Polska Sp. z o.o. commissions the Krakow University of Economics to organise a two-semester postgraduate program and deliver the curriculum under the new name “Sustainable Energy Certificate Program”, offered by the Krakow School of Business KUE.
The program has been modernised and expanded based on the experience of previous collaboration with Shell, particularly the implementation of the 2023 edition of the studies, allowing the curriculum to be aligned with current challenges and trends in the energy sector.
The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Krakow School of Business KUE, Assoc. Prof. Marcin Jędrzejczyk, Ph.D.
The program will begin in 2026 and conclude in 2027. It will run over two semesters: the first from March 2026 to June 2026, and the second from October 2026 to February 2027.
Planned start of recruitment: January 2026.
The “Sustainable Energy Certificate Program” provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities related to sustainable energy, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to implement change and create a positive impact in this field. The program enables the development of competencies in environmental responsibility, minimising a company’s environmental impact, and analysing internal policies and processes whose effects influence the environment and climate change.

The program offers a thorough understanding of the challenges and opportunities of sustainable energy, preparing participants to drive meaningful change in this area.
