Why is it worth choosing the Sustainable Energy postgraduate studies?

> You will gain competence in the field of environmental responsibility and minimizing the company’s impact on the environment,
> you will be prepared to perform managerial functions in the company, including the energy sector,
> you will acquire the competence to initiate and coordinate cooperation with employees, clients and stakeholders in the area of sustainable development, climate and energy policy,
> you will gain valuable competences and skills in the context of assessing and analyzing the policy and internal processes in the company, the effects of which are not indifferent to the environment and climate change.

Participant’s profile:

Sustainable Energy is for you if:

> you are an employee of the private or public sector in a unit from the area of sustainable energy, interested in the subject of: risk management, brand, corporate social responsibility, communication and business relations, quality management, relations with the external environment and improvement of operational processes,
> you are an employee of the company aspiring to managerial functions interested in comprehensive sustainable development management, with particular emphasis on the environment and energy,
> you work in a managerial position or are a member of the management or managerial staff in an enterprise in the field of energy management.

Duration of studies and number of hours:

Postgraduate studies will be held in English in part-time mode, i.e. on weekends (twice a month on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays). The number of hours of postgraduate studies is 180 hours. The duration of postgraduate studies is two semesters.

After defending the final thesis, you will receive:

> a diploma issued by the Krakow School of Business of the Krakow University of Economics,
> certificate of completion of post-graduate studies Sustainable Energy (in accordance with the Act of July 20, 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science, Journal of Laws of 2021, item 478).

Shell is an international energy company that produces and sells crude oil, natural gas, and develops and sells various forms of energy such as biofuels and low-carbon electricity. The company operates in over 70 countries and employs over 80,000 people worldwide. Shell is known for its commitment to sustainable development, investing in research and development of new technologies to reduce environmental impact and promote the use of cleaner forms of energy. Shell is a partner of the course and co-finances post-graduate studies “Sustainable Energy”. This partnership enables students to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in the field of sustainable energy, working closely with industry experts. This program provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of sustainable energy challenges and opportunities, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to make a difference and make a positive impact in the field.

* Price PLN 1,000/sem. applies to persons who successfully pass the recruitment process and are included in the group of 30 qualified study participants (applications will be subject to verification by the admissions committee). The regular price is PLN 5,000 per semester.

After registering in the IRK recruitment system, a motivation letter should be sent (to the email address: karolina.dabek@uek.krakow.pl) justifying the willingness to undertake studies and the legitimacy of granting funding.
