KSB KUE Open Day 2024 – Gallery

On September 7, 2024, the stationary Krakow School of Business KUE Open Day took place. This cyclical event is an excellent opportunity for candidates to better learn about the offer of postgraduate studies and the renowned MBA programs of the KSB KUE. The event was conducted bilingually. The official opening was performed by His Magnificence the KUE Rector, Assoc. prof.  Bernard Ziębicki, Ph. D., together with the KSB KUE Director, Assoc. prof. Marcin Jędrzejczyk, Ph. D. As part of the attractions, it was possible to take part in a lecture dedicated to postgraduate studies or a discussion panel devoted to MBA programs.

The lecture entitled “Are we cyber (?) safe?” (in Polish) was led by Sub-Insp. Wojciech Chechelski, an officer of the Prevention Department of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Kraków, who is the author of the educational project “Threats on the Net – prevention, response”, implemented together with the Marshal’s Office of the Małopolska Province and NASK PIB in Małopolska educational institutions. Sub-inspector Wojciech Chechelski was among 100 people who contributed in an outstanding way to the development of digital skills in Poland in 2023. During the lecture, contemporary threats in the digital world were discussed, what cybersecurity is and how to take care of it in both private and professional life were explained. The value of our data, its protection, the scale of cyberattacks and the current threats we must face were also discussed. At the end, the question was asked: do we really feel cybersafe?

The discussion panel “MBA in the Age of AI: Navigating the Future of Business” (in English) was devoted to the role of managerial education in the era of artificial intelligence. The experts discussed how AI is changing modern management and what competencies are key for future leaders. They discussed the challenges and opportunities that AI creates for business and how MBA programs can prepare for these changes. After the panel, a question-and-answer session was held, during which participants had the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers. The panel was attended by:

– Agnieszka Gawlik – Data Business Analyst at The HEINEKEN Company, participant of the 10th edition of the MBA KSB + CLARK MASTER program.

During the event, there were also meetings with directors in the postgraduate studies zone, and additionally, participants could get answers to questions at the information point, where it was also possible to register for studies. In addition to substantive attractions, participants had the opportunity to relax in the summer zone, take part in a business quiz with prizes and try delicious Belgian fries and prepared refreshments. During the entire event, there was plenty of space for networking and engaging discussions in an international, business environment. The youngest participants also could not complain about boredom – numerous attractions and games were organized by Hopla KIDS.

At the end of the event, a lucky winner of the lottery with the main prize was selected – congratulations to Mrs. Ksenia!
