Accreditations and Memberships CEEMAN

CEEMAN – Central and East European Management Development Association

CEEMAN favors improving the quality of management processes and change processes through the development of education, research, consulting, data, network support and other related services for development-oriented institutions in the area of management and corporations operating in a dynamically changing environment. Its holistic approach to the change and leadership is based on innovation, creativity and respect for cultural values. The activity of the CEEMAN manifests itself, among others by organizing seminars, research programs, workshops, international conferences, etc. on educational programs and institutions. Krakow School of Business is a member of CEEMAN since January 2018.

Accreditations and Memberships ASPIRE

ASPIRE – Association of IT & Business Process Services Companies

ASPIRE brings together companies from the IT sector and advanced business services; Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). It is one of the leading business associations in Central and Eastern Europe. They gather over 180 entities, mainly international companies such as: ABB, AON, Cisco, Electrolux, Google, HSBC, IBM and many more. The goal of the ASPIRE association is to strengthen the business model in related industries, help its members to increase their competitive advantage by identifying common aspirations, facilitating networking and information exchange, and enabling appropriate and targeted cooperation with key stakeholders in cities where members operate. Krakow School of Business is a member of ASPIRE since November 2017.

IACBE – International Accreditation Council for Business Education

The IACBE accredits associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral-level degree programs in business and business-related fields at institutions with bachelor’s and/or graduate degree programs throughout the world. It is based in Olathe, Kansas, United States, with member institutions in more than 20 countries throughout the world. Business programs are evaluated based on the IACBE’s accreditation principles, which examine eight major areas: outcomes assessment, strategic planning, curriculum, faculty, scholarly and professional activities, resources, internal and external relationships, and educational innovation. Krakow School of Business KUE is an educational member of IACBE since January 2018.

AACSB – Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business

AACSB is a global non-profit organization of educational institutions, businesses, and other entities in the field of advanced management education. Founded in 1916, AACSB offers its members a variety of products and services to help them continuously improve their educational, business, and school programs. In addition to providing products and services, AACSB seeks to identify challenges and trends facing the business education industry through research and various initiatives.

Krakow University of Economics, which includes Krakow School of Business, is an institutional member of AACSB, one of the most prestigious organizations that gathers business schools from around the world.

Accreditations and Memberships EFMD

EPAS – EFMD Programme Accreditation

EPAS is an esteemed international accreditation granted by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). It ranks among the world’s top three prestigious certifications, globally acknowledged. Its primary objective is to identify outstanding MBA programs. EPAS accreditation hinges on rigorous criteria. It focuses on aspects such as a program’s standing in the national and international market, its significance for the university, the quality of knowledge imparted, and the expertise of the academic staff. An institution obtaining EPAS accreditation commits to continuous development on both domestic and international fronts. This involves staying current with cutting-edge management concepts & fostering a robust business ecosystem around the program. It also involves implementing a formal educational quality assurance system, and maintaining a strong presence in the educational market. Krakow School of Business KUE has been a proud EFMD member since 2011. Our membership is reflecting its dedication to upholding the highest standards in management education.

The Executive MBA program offered by KSB UEK holds the international EPAS accreditation granted by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). The program first received this accreditation in 2019, with funding from the Ministry of Education and Science. In 2022, the accreditation was extended for another five years – until 2027.

NECHE – New England Commission of Higher Education

NECHE is an accreditation of higher education institutions by the NECHE commission, confirming that the accredited school has the necessary resources to achieve its goals through appropriately designed educational programs and to maintain the established level of education in the future. After an audit conducted by NECHE in 2019, Krakowska Szkoła Biznesu UEK gained the status of a foreign campus of Clark University in the United States. The institutional cooperation will continue and be enhanced within the re-accreditation of Clark University.
