The idea of the Congress

”MBA Congress constitutes an important business

platform for the MBA society in Poland and worldwide”

An International MBA Congress is an event aimed at the integration of MBA students and alumni from all over the world. By inviting managers with an MBA degree coming from various countries representing various organizationa culture and diffrent level and economic development, we strive to facilitate an exchange of experience and make new business contacts. The Congress has already became a seven years tradition, organized by Cracow School of Business at Cracow University of Economics. Every year it brings 200-300 people including the MBA students and alumni, the scientific staff and management of MBA programs. So far, we have had various representatives from Germany, the USA, Switzerland, Sweden, India, Moldavia, the Ukraine, Republic of South Africa. The number of Congress participants is growing every year.

The main value of the Congress has become content workshops focused on economic situation and management trends. The workshops are hosted by the top specialists, the representatives of leading partnerships, the public sector and science. Such a wide representation alows to integrate business practice with the theory and procedures of the public sector.

Networking, i.e. searching for new contacts has become another important part of the MBA Congress. The organizers offer various stimulating activities such as business mixers, banquets, golf tournaments and projects facilitating better integration and building both business contacts as well as sociali sing.

PARTICIPANT'S PROFILE

MBA Congress is aiming at integrating a wide group of professionals whose career path includes MBA studies. The MBA Congress is attended by:

•  Students and alumni of MBA progams.
•  Clubs and associations of MBA alumni.
•  MBA programs directors and co-ordinators.
•  Faculty of MBA programs.

The invited guests represent executive staff in companies. Mostly part they are presidents, members of Boards, CEOs and managers. They manage both large companies, international corporations, as well as medium and small entities. Those people operate in various lines of business i.e. finance and banking, production and commerce, medical services, IT and cutting-edge technologies.

THE COST OF PARTICIPATION IN THE CONGRESS:

-the price of participation in case of registration by the 31th of March 2011 – 299 euro
-the  price of participation in case of registration between the 1st of April and the 6th  of May 2011 – 499 euro

Fee includes meels, materials, banquet, business workshops, golf event.
Fee does not include accommodation and transport

INVOICE:

For individual participants invoice will be made only at special request, not later than 7 days after entering fee on the University account.
For companies and institutions invoice will be made based on applica tion form.
Please submit request for invoice to International MBA Congress Office directly after payment.
For invoice following data are needed:

ATTENTION:

In case of the resignation from the participation in the Congress, after  payment for the participation in the event, the organiser is reserving the right to charge certain costs to the participant:

• 20 % of registration fee - in case of the  resignation till 22.04

• 40 % of registration fee - in case of t the resignation till 29.04

• 60 % of registration fee - in case of  the resignation till  06.05

After that time  the organiser is not obliged to reimburse the costs incurred by the participant.
